Changes...

I've taken pictures for years, but only within the last year and a half have I really turned the hobby into something more. Mostly my friends ask me, "Hey, my coworker wants some pictures taken of her kids; can you do it?" I oblige and in the process pick up new contacts/clients. Though I consider myself a professional, I don't consider myself a master. Still plenty of learning to be had in my opinion. My friends, and even family members, keep telling me to charge more, open up a studio, start my own business. Technically it's extra income already...but the extra steps to take for the business, well, I haven't taken that giant leap yet. (I blame finances) But with the new year comes a bit more confidence in my work. I'll be charging a bit more in 2012, but I'll also be giving back. You'll get more bang for your buck since I'll offer a free print with the pricing. I think it will be worth it.
